What is a group email?
A group email is a shared email address that sends incoming emails to multiple people.
For example:
support@brand.com This email can be connected to multiple team members, such as:

When a customer sends an email to support@brand.com, all members in the group can receive that email.

So, one email address can distribute emails to multiple people.
How does it work with DelightChat?
To connect a group email with DelightChat, the merchant should forward emails from the group email to the DelightChat forwarding address.
Example:
support@brand.com → DelightChat forwarding email
Once forwarding is set up, emails sent to the group email can appear in DelightChat.
Important Note
A group email may have different forwarding rules depending on the email provider, such as Google Workspace or Outlook.
