Order details show removed and returned items

The order panel in the inbox now shows items that are no longer in a Shopify order. A removed item is struck through and tagged Returned, Refunded, Removed From Order or Cancelled.

Before this update, the order panel showed the quantity that was first bought, even after an item was edited out, returned, refunded or cancelled. Now the line stays in the list but is greyed out and struck through, with a tag for the reason. The quantity reads like quantity: 0 (was 2), and the amount uses the quantity that is still in the order.

If only some units were removed, the line shows the lower quantity with the original in brackets. If the whole order was cancelled, every changed line is tagged Cancelled. An order that has not changed looks the same as before.

How to see it

  1. Open a conversation with a customer whose Shopify order was changed.
  2. Open the Orders tab in the panel on the right.
  3. Look at the order lines. Removed items show the tag and a struck-through name.

No separate setting is needed. The panel needs a connected Shopify store. For how the panel finds a customer and their orders, see the related guide How do I view Shopify order data from an incoming message?
