Set AI chatbot memory per channel

How many past messages the AI chatbot considers is no longer one account-wide setting. Admins can now tune it per channel.

What this means for your team

Different support channels can need different amounts of recent conversation context. The number of past messages supplied to AI Agent is now stored per channel, rather than taken from one account-wide setting.

Changing one channel’s context setting therefore does not require using the same value for the other channels. This controls the recent messages considered for an answer, rather than creating permanent or unlimited memory of every conversation.

How to use it

Channel-level context uses the existing AI Agent channel configuration. The current published help guides do not document a memory control; contact your DelightChat support team if you need help checking or changing this setting.
