Merchants can now connect a WhatsApp Business number through a guided, step-by-step wizard instead of a support-led setup. It walks you through Business Manager linking, Gupshup setup and Meta go-live, with in-wizard help at each step.
The guided connection flow brings the required account and number setup into the app. You can work through the steps in order and use the help shown at each stage, rather than relying on a separate support-led setup for the whole process.
Go to Settings, open Support Channels, and choose Add a WhatsApp API channel. Follow the wizard's instructions for your business account and phone number, then complete the verification steps it presents. External account approval and number verification are still required.
