Improved
Support Inbox

Inbox opens on your own assigned chats

When you open the DelightChat web inbox without a link to a specific place, it now lands on your own assigned chats. If you have none, it opens the first channel that has open chats. Links to a specific chat or list work as before.

Agents used to start on the first channel's list, which meant they had to find their own work before they could start. The inbox now puts the work that belongs to you first. For an agent with chats assigned to them, the first screen is their own assigned list, so they can start replying straight away.

The landing follows a simple order. If you have at least one assigned chat, the inbox opens your assigned list. If you have none, it looks through your channels in the same order as the left sidebar, across all your brands, and opens the Unassigned list of the first channel that has open chats. If your channels have no open chats, you land on your assigned list, which is empty. If you have not connected a channel yet, you still go to the setup flow as before.

How to use it

There is no setting to turn on. A link to a specific chat, channel or list still opens that exact place, and a saved or shared link is not changed. This update applies to the web app only.
