Guide me walks you through setup on your real dashboard

Guide me is a new button that walks you through a task on your real dashboard. It dims the page, rings the next thing to click and moves on when you click it. Six guides are live, from creating a tag to setting up auto opt-outs.

Learning where things are in a new dashboard is slow when you only read about it. With Guide me you do the task for real, with the dashboard showing you where to click at each step. Nothing is simulated: when you finish the Create a new tag guide, the tag exists.

The guide dims the page and puts a ring around the next control. When you click it, the guide moves to the next step. You can go back, skip a step or exit the guide at any time. If you leave the page a step needs, the guide offers Take me back. A step that saves your work waits for the save to succeed before it moves on. Guide me works in all 12 dashboard languages.

The six guides

• Create a new tag: on the Tags page.
• Create a new message template: on the Message Templates page.
• Set up the Order Confirmation automation: on that automation's page.
• Set up the COD Order Verification automation: on that automation's page.
• Set up the Order Fulfilment automation: on that automation's page.
• Set up auto opt-outs: in Workflows.

How to use it

1. Open one of the pages above, for example Settings, then Tags.
2. Click Guide me under the page title.
3. Follow the card and click the control that has the ring. Use Back, Skip this step or Exit guide when you need to.

No separate setting is needed. Pages that do not have a guide look the same as before.
